Happy Mothering Sunday

10 March 2024

Happy Mothers’ Day from Bradford Unitarians. Our service today will feature some lovely prayers by York Unitarian Jenny Jacobs and a prayer and benediction by Unitarian Universalists, as well as Neil Gaiman’s gorgeous poem/story/prayer ‘Blueberry Girl’ and some thoughts about mothers in fiction, film and fairy tale.
Next Sunday is a third Sunday so there will be no service – feel free to join our friends at York, Leeds or Pepper Hill, or further afield.

On Sunday 24th March we will be visited by Ann Howell, the Unitarians’ national Social Action officer. On Easter Sunday we’ll have a short ‘serendipity’ service (bring a relevant prayer/reading to contribute if you like) followd by an Easter Egg Hunt, and then on 7th April we have feedback from the national General Assembly meetings, also coordinated by our minister, Stephanie.
